Nepal's winning hope against Australia failed .

After winning the toss , Nepali skipper Prithu Baskota invited Australia to bat first with the hope of early blow of Australia , but the planned went wrong . Australia started the innings slowly but Nepali bowler ( K. Karki) took first wicket on the behalf of Nepal in 7.1 over with the score of 31 on the board . After that , Nepal seemed unable to take Aussies wickets before 37^th over  , the two regular fall of wickets of Australia gave Nepalese fans some hope to reside Australia under the score of 250 , but it was already too late . The fine innings of 125 in 139 balls by CT Bancroft  helps Australia to take their score to 294/7

Before the start of the second inning , the Nepalese player looked very confident but their confidence lasted till the hat trick of Australian fast bowler HNA Conway with the victims P Airee , NB Budayair ( Who got 114 runs against New- Zealand in warm-up game) and the skipper itself P. Baskota . Nepal was like no way winning the game from their onwards and slowly all the batsman were just throwing their wickets away except couple of  players like Sagar Pun  and Pulami Magar with the decent scores of22 and 21 in their account respectively .  Nepali spinners impressed a lot during the match, with economical bowling and were also appreciated by Australian Batsmen. Nepal got plenty of support by Nepalese cricket fans in Australia during the match. Now Nepal must register wins against Ireland and England on 15 and 16 of August, Match against England will be telecasted live on ESPN Star cricket from 5:00 am (NST) .

The first cricket academy in Far-Westren Development Region named “Dhangadhi Cricket Academy” is under construction in Dhanagdhi , Kailali . The Dhanagdhi Cricket Academy is been constructing under the estimated investment of Nrs.10 Lakhs yet, the academy is made under the joint investment of the executive member of Cricket Association of Nepal ( Mr. Dhirendra Sawad) , Director of SPA college (Mr Subash Shahi) and Managing Director of Bells Café Dhangadhi ( Mr Mahesh Shah) . The cricket academy includes 4 pitches , 3 cemented pitches and 1 grass pitch of International Standard ( Consideration) . One of the investors Mr. Dhirendra Sawad said “ We are looking to import the coaches of local and national levels to train the young kids , our main target is to produce the best players and make them play for the national team in the future as there are lots of young talents in the Far- Western Development region”

“We are looking to start the academy after the rainy season stops” said Mr Subash Shahi and He also said that ,currently the local and best coaches of Far-west will train the kids and visitor coaches will also be invited to train the kids .
